UPRISING 003 - Bobby Verne / Buddy Wayne - Red Hot Car / Agent 007 Dance

The third release of the ROVR × Ace Records UPRISING series brings together
two seriously sought-after underground dance floor cuts, selected by none other than Keb Darge.

Side A: Bobby Verne, Red Hot Car A wild, sax-fuelled rockabilly stomper first released in 1962 on the ultra-rare Doc Holiday label.
Long sought after by collectors, this killer cut has earned its reputation as a guaranteed floor-filler across the globe.

Side B: Buddy Wayne, Agent 007 Dance A seriously cool mid-’60s dance craze record, taking Gary Paxton’s Bond-inspired groove and turning it into something completely its own. Rediscovered years later, it found a new life on the rockabilly stroller scene before making its way into Northern Soul and mod sets.
